About

Work off Welfare, or W.O.W. -

is a registered 501(c)(3) life skills, job training, and personal development organization that focuses on the preparation, transition, and start of incremental growth so participants can get off -

and stay off all welfare* assistance.

We believe that with the right mindset to change, directed support, and focused training, individuals can achieve their goals and create a better future for themselves and their families through financial independence.

*Welfare refers to federal government-sponsored assistance programs for individuals and families in need. While several programs fall under this umbrella, W.O.W. focuses on under or unemployed participants of housing, food, or cash assistance programs.

Our Mission
Work off Welfare

Our Mission

Our mission is to provide transitional soft and hard skills training for job & career placement, to get off and stay off welfare.

Our Vision

Our vision is to create a platform where each person regardless of background or barrier, has the opportunity to build a better future for themselves and their families.

We believe that by support, access to both soft and hard skills training, information on resources, and a pathway to transition to the next level, we can help break the cycle of poverty, and achieve long-term success.
